I have always adore collage of steam punk styles using most common materials that you can find in your house and combined them elegantly to create a beautiful piece of jewelry like this one. The concept behind this was inspired when i accompanied my dad to his tailor. I had those zippers and the yellow measuring tape for quite some time but never had the chance to use it yet. So I thought this is the perfect time to utilize it. I collaged these sewing materials with some of the hardware gems from my dad's tool box (shhh... he doesn't know i took it from him ;) ) and also with some of the vintage buttons that i got it from a friend of mine who has been so generous to donate her amount of findings to me as she knows i can be insanely crazy with all these stuffs. So thanks so much ;)
Since I'm wearing hijab, so I have made the length just nice so that it sits just slightly under one's chest. Nevertheless, you can adjust the length whether you want to have it shorter or longer with the chain extender attached.
